In 2013 Australian New York City resident Yael Stone was the inmate playing 'Lorna Morello' In the film Orange Is the New Black. Yael holds a master's qualification from NIDA. Yael had the privilege at a young age to work with Australia's premier storytellers and performers and visionaries in the film, TV and theatre industries. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael found her new place of residence with the city of New York City when the production premiered to acclaim at BAM. Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery supports innovative creativity, writing and artistic endeavors from the Bushwick studio.
