Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26th, 1984 is a comedian and actor known for her deadpan sense of humor. She is the character April Ludgate on "Parks and Recreation." After doing an improv comedy and sketch comedy show in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Plaza made her web TV debut on "The Jeannie Tate Show." She went on to appear in Judd Apatow's "Funny People" and "Scott Pilgrim against. the World" later in her career. Make her day special! Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of financial advisor David Plaza and attorney Bernadette Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware. Her mother and father are both Irish-English. Plaza was a graduate of a Catholic all-girls high school in 2002, and then from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in the year 2006. The president was of her high school's student council as well as a participant in Wilmington Drama League productions during the time she was a senior.
